Wired Safety Beams (2-wire)

Automatic Technology’s more traditional wired safety beams are ideal for sites with existing wiring, or where specifications require. These 2-wire safety beams use the latest modulated sensing technology as found in the Wireless units.

Wired Safety Beams (3-wire)

Using legacy 3-wire technology, these wired safety beams offer the same functional safety and security of our latest technology with the more traditional 3-wire setup.

The infrared sensors are strategically placed on both sides of your garage door, just inches above the ground. When the door is in the process of closing, the sensors are immediately activated. If a sensor detects an object in the path of the closing door, such as a child, pet, or vehicle, it triggers an immediate stop and reverses the door.
